- Admissions Requirements
Although Apostolic College of Theology is an open-admissions college, there are requirements that must be met depending on the student’s credibility and class availability per semester. Once the admission form is submitted, the college will review each applicant’s form of admission. If accepted, he/she will be notified of the admission and dates of enrollment. All courses and semesters are taught online, which may require students to obtain high speed internet.
- Testing and Graduating
Exams will be issued upon completion of every course and level of courses. In order to graduate, a final cumulative test must be taken and passed.
- Advising and Orientation
Once a student has applied and turned in all of his/her admissions form, a staff member will contact each applicant for orientation.
- Registration & Fees
The college will send you a registration form via e-mail. One time registration fee of $100 is due with each application.
- Basic Education
Basic education is available for those who are interested in studying certain levels. These classes are available without certification. Fees are based upon each level.
- Bachelor’s Degree Courses and Fees
For a Bachelor Degree from ACOT, student must complete 64 courses (Level 1–5) and pass a final exam. Total cost per Level $350.
- Master’s Degree Courses and Fees
For a Master Degree from ACT, student must have a Bachelor degree from ACOT and complete 32 courses – Level 6 -8 and pass a final exam. Total cost per Level $500.
- Ministerial Degree Courses and Fee
For a Ministerial Degree from ACOT, student must be active in the ministry or have a personal recommendation from his/her pastor to take this course. All students must sign Statement of Faith prior to receiving the degree and must complete 24 courses (Essential for Ministry) – Level 7 & 8 and pass final exam. Total cost per Level $500.
- Pre-Missions (PMT) Degree Courses and Fee
For a Pre-Missions Degree from ACOT, student must have a recommendation from his/her pastor to take this course and must also provide a letter from a mission board stating his/her appointment. For individuals who are going to visit or temporarily assist a missionary,they also must provide a letter from his/her pastor to take this course and a letter from the missionary they plan to visit. All students must sign Statement of Faith prior to receiving the degree and must complete 12 courses in Pre-Missions Training (PMT) – and pass final exam. Total cost $500.
- Missionaries and Foreign Nationals
Missionaries and Nationals of foreign countries and those who live outside the U.S. may receive education for no charge depending on their credibility and class availability per semester. Please contact ACOT for more information.
